Mr. Schraier joined Newport Capital Partners in 2017 and is a Vice President focused on Property Management. In this capacity, he is responsible for the operations and property management of the Firm’s properties totaling in excess of 1 million square feet including property-level budgets, variance analysis, and value creation initiatives. He is also the primary liaison with tenants and vendors, and oversees maintenance and capital improvement projects.
Prior to joining NCP, Mr. Schraier was a Property Manager with Advantage Management and had portfolio management oversight of 15+ condominium associations located in the Chicago area. He prepared annual operational and capital expenditure budgets, supervised the day-to-day operations with homeowners and vendors, and led quarterly board meetings. He began his career as an Assistant Property Manager with M. Fishman & Co. and reviewed rental applications and coordinated tenant moves. Additionally, he conducted rental market research and negotiated lease extensions and renewals.
Mr. Schraier received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Missouri and holds the Commercial Real Estate certificate from Cornell University. He is an Associate Board member of nonprofit organization CJE SeniorLife.
