Amanda Jacobson

Vice President, Asset Management

Ms. Jacobson joined Newport Capital Partners in 2020 and is a Vice President on the Asset Management team.  In this capacity, she is primarily responsible for directing and overseeing property-level performance of the Firm’s assets.  Additionally, she develops and executes business plans and value add initiatives.

Ms. Jacobson has over 17 years of real estate experience focused on asset management of institutional assets across retail, hospitality, industrial, office, and multifamily properties.  Prior to joining NCP, she was Vice President of Asset Management with Boyd Watterson Asset Management.  During her tenure, she had asset management oversight of 35 assets with $450 million in value within the firm’s open-end fund and separate accounts.  Prior to Boyd Watterson, she was a Senior Associate with RREEF and assisted in managing separate accounts and RREEF America REIT II (flagship core commingled fund) on behalf of institutional investors.  Previously, she was an Acquisitions Analyst with Equity Residential and underwrote and analyzed various investment opportunities.  She began her career in corporate valuation consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Jacobson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University and her MBA in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.  She is a supporter of nonprofit organization Connections for the Homeless.
